Exchange rates on June 5: the hryvnia rose in price, but only in banks

On Monday, June 5, the hryvnia exchange rate at bank counters strengthened both against the dollar and the euro, but on the “black” market, the hryvnia depreciated against the dollar.

This is stated in the data minfin.com.ua, finance.ua.

At 09:40, the exchange rate of the dollar against the hryvnia on the “black market” was 36.97 – 37.18 hryvnias against quotes of 36.74 – 37.25 on Friday. The exchange rate spread narrowed, and it became more expensive to sell currency.

At the same time, the “black” rate of the euro was UAH 40.03 – 40.31 against the rate of UAH 40.1 – 40.38 per euro on Friday.

The average currency exchange rates at bank counters were as follows:

  • US dollar – 36.975 – 37.45 UAH (exchange rate on June 2 – 37.05 – 37.5 UAH);
  • Euro – 39.8 – 40.5 UAH (exchange rate on June 2 – 40.0 – 40.58 UAH).

In terms of banks, the cash rates are as follows:

  • Privatbank – UAH 36.85 – 37.35;
  • Oschadbank – UAH 36.7 – UAH 37.7;
  • Ukreximbank – UAH 36.8 – 37.5;
  • Raiffeisen – 36.9 – 37.35 hryvnias.

As for non-cash payments, the exchange rate when paying by card in banks in Privatbank is UAH 37.45 per dollar, in Oschada – UAH 37.12, in Universal Bank (monobank) – UAH 37.44.
