Finnish companies have almost completely withdrawn from Russia: only 2% work

This is evidenced by a recent survey of export directors of chambers of commerce, reports “Evropeyska Pravda” with reference to Yle.

At the time of the beginning of the Russian invasion of Ukraine in February 2022, about 80% of export companies worked in Russia.

18% of companies reported that they faced attempts to circumvent sanctions against Russia. There were especially many requests from the countries of Central Asia.

The survey of directors of chambers of commerce was conducted from October 24 to 27. Responses were received from almost a hundred export companies.

As reported, the European Central Bank (ECB) continues to apply pressure on banks in order to loosen ties with Russia, but he knows that getting approval from local authorities is not easy.

We will remind, Hungary became the last of the member states of the European Union, which left the International Investment Bank (MIB) – it was dubbed the “Russian spy bank” because of its close connection with the Russian Federation.
