At the end of April 2023, the leading Ukrainian media NV and the investment company Dragon Capital presented a rating of the stability of Ukrainian banks “TOP-15 most stable banks in the country”, which identified the most reliable financial institutions in the country, as well as those trusted by investors and experts.

The ranking of the country’s most stable banks included financial institutions with the most viable business models, sufficient reserves and high-quality assets. PUIB took 2nd place among financial institutions with private Ukrainian capital and 11th place in the overall rating of banks.

“Despite the war, PUIB remains a stable, profitable and reliable bank. Together with our clients and the bank’s team, we passed the difficult year of 2022. We stood up for ourselves and helped others – business, the state, defenders and civilian Ukrainians. This year, our goal is to maintain a high level of customer service quality, continue the development of our digital channels and products, and invest further in ongoing projects for the protection and restoration of Ukraine,” commented Sergey Chernenko, Chairman of the Board of PUIB.

The basis of the rating is the data of seven categories: capital adequacy, profitability, investor confidence (dynamics of client deposits — individuals and businesses), asset quality, shareholder support and quality indicators (reputation, transparency of activity, balanced risk management). Investor confidence is one of the key indicators of the rating. Thus, according to the bank’s internal data, 83% of the bank’s individual clients extended their deposits within 12 months of 2022. As an agent bank of the Individual Deposit Guarantee Fund, FUIB paid more than UAH 715 million to depositors of bankrupt banks in 12 months of 2022. In general, according to NBU data, as of January 1, 2023, FUIB is among the TOP-5 banks in terms of the size of the deposit portfolio of individuals in hryvnia.
