How the apartment rental market in Ukraine changed in 2022 – data from Gosstat

The average monthly rent for a 1-room apartment for 2022 in Ukraine increased by 32.7% from UAH 4,294 to UAH 5,699. At the same time, the Lviv region took the lead in terms of rent, where the rent increased 2.1 times to UAH 10,977. This is evidenced by Gosstat data.

Zakarpattia Oblast took second place, where the rent price almost doubled to UAH 8,706.
The capital fell to third place in terms of rent. In Kyiv, the rent fell by 10.3% to UAH 7,637.

The cost of rent has increased in the western and some central regions of Ukraine. At the same time, prices fell in Kharkiv (by 30.9% to UAH 3,430), Odesa (by 9.5% to UAH 4,600) and Zaporozhye (by 2.2% to UAH 2,931) regions.
