The court in Chelyabinsk fined a participant in the war in Ukraine as part of the PMC “Wagner” 5,000 rubles, and found him guilty of beating a woman, which resulted in moderate health damage.
As reported by 74.ru, the soldier attacked his ex-wife, from whom he had been divorced for two years, but was jealous of her new partner. After the beating, the woman was hospitalized, the bones in her face were broken. As a result, the victim of the attack had to undergo an operation to replace the broken bones with a titanium plate.
The person accused of the beating faced up to three years in prison, however, he provided the court with medals “For the capture of Bakhmut”, documents about his participation in hostilities, and as a result, he was released from criminal responsibility, getting away with a fine.
The day before, Russian serviceman Nikita Sidorov, who had returned from the war in Ukraine, killed his ex-wife in the presence of his three-year-old son in Chelyabinsk.
