In Chita, a military man was sentenced to 1.5 years on the charge of a self-inflicted wolf

The Chitinsky Garrison Court sentenced Corporal Danylo Fyodorov to 1.5 years in prison on charges of desertion. Prior military punishment under the article on “illegal production, sale or shipment of narcotic substances” was added to the term. The verdict was handed down based on the totality of the cases, the Second Eastern District Military Court reported.

Fyodorov was also fined 10,000 rubles. According to the investigation, the serviceman did not report to the military unit from the hospital on June 28 and spent time in Chita instead of duty. On July 12, he was detained by DPS officers and taken to the military commandant’s office. On July 15, Fyodorov again did not arrive at the military unit on time. On August 8, he was detained by other military personnel.

On November 8, the Argun District Court of the Trans-Baikal Region sentenced Fedorov under the article “illegal production, sale or shipment of narcotic substances.” The details of this criminal case in relation to the military are unknown.
