In Karelia, an ex-deputy was fined for reposting Navalny’s investigation

Anatoly Zverev, a former deputy of the city of Medvezhegorsk in Karelia, was fined 1,000 rubles for reposting the investigation of politician Alexei Navalny about the palace of Igor Shuvalov, who was then deputy prime minister. This was reported by the Telegram channel From Karelia with freedom.
On April 13, the “Grazhdańskoe dyvnice of Karelia” reported that an administrative protocol was drawn up against Zverev on the public demonstration of extremist symbols. The police found on Zverev’s VKontakte page a repost of Alexei Navalny’s video “The Palace, which is forbidden to watch”, shot in 2018.
The court ruling states that “the clip contains a video image of A. A. Navalny (recognized as a foreign agent, included in the list of extremists and terrorists) and symbols in the form of a stylized letter “H”, which, based on the decision of the Moscow City Court, is recognized as extremist.”
Anatoly Zverev did not agree with the claims of the police and wrote in the protocol that his constitutional rights were violated.
