In Krasnodar, the spouses Olesya and Alexei Ovchinnikov were detained in a restaurant because of their anti-war comments in a private conversation. Their daughter reported this to “OVD-Info”.
The couple was detained after one of the restaurant’s visitors released the police. According to the Ovchinnykovs, the policemen who came to the call put handcuffs on them, put them on the floor and kept them in this position for about an hour, and then took them to the police department. There, a report was made on them about petty hooliganism and left for the night before the court. At home, the Ovchinnikovs had a 9-year-old daughter who had to be looked after by strangers.
According to the spouses, the police directly told them that the detention was connected with anti-war statements.
