After the start of the program for exchanging incandescent lamps for energy-saving LED lamps, Ukrainians already ordered more than 300,000 lamps for exchange through Diya on the first day.
About this reported Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal.
According to him, 30 million such lamps have already been purchased by the EU, another 5 million are expected from France.
“You can submit a preliminary application for exchange through Diya or simply exchange old lamps for new ones at Ukrposhta branches. Ukrainians have already ordered more than 300,000 energy-saving lamps for exchange through Diya,” Shmyhal said.
The service is now available in regional centers (except for the temporarily occupied Donetsk, Luhansk, Simferopol and the city of Sevastopol), as well as in the cities of Kryvyi Rih, Kramatorsk and Pokrovsk.
During the second stage, the lamp exchange program will start in the district centers, and by the end of February – in the villages.
Serviceable light bulbs are accepted for exchange. The exchange will take place in two ways – with and without a prior order. Instructions on how to do it – follow the link https://svitlo.diia.gov.ua.
Thanks to the massive replacement of old lamps with energy-saving ones, the consumption of electricity at peak load times on the Ukrainian power system will decrease by 7-10%, the Ministry of Economy says.
