At night, a banner was hung in St. Petersburg against the draft law banning transit in Russia. The photo of the stretching was published by DOXA.

Activists held out a poster on which the following was written in black and white: “The law on banning transit is a human-hating ho*no.”

The second reading of the bill in the State Duma will be held tomorrow, July 13. In the first reading, it was supported by all 365 deputies present at the meeting.

If the draft law passes three readings in the State Duma, is approved by the Federation Council and signed by the President of Russia, transit in the country will be effectively prohibited. It will be available only for “treatment of congenital physiological anomalies of sex formation in children”.

Also, in accordance with the amendments approved by the State Duma Committee on Health Protection, transpersons will be prohibited from adopting and adopting children.

Experts believe that the ban on transit will lead to an increase in the number of mental disorders and suicides, as well as the emergence of a black market for underground medical services in Russia.
