In St. Petersburg, a lawsuit was filed against the Maly Drama Theater

The court in St. Petersburg registered an administrative case against the Small Drama Theater (MDT) on the violation of sanitary rules. This was reported in the joint press service of the city’s courts.

What exactly became the reason for the initiation of the case is not specified in the message. The materials were submitted to the judge, they have not yet been accepted for the proceedings, the date of the meeting has not been set.

On May 6, it became known that the MDT under the leadership of Lev Dodin was sealed until at least May 12 at the request of Rospotrebnadzor, and all performances were canceled. State agencies claimed that Rospotrebnadzor recorded “numerous sanitary and epidemiological violations”. According to Sever.Realia, the inspectors allegedly discovered shortcomings in the field of fire safety and in the sanitary and epidemiological sphere, among which are “defects in the finishing of the walls and floor in the premises for storing cleaning equipment, the absence of markings on mops and buckets, and incomplete fluorographs of some employees of the theater.” .

In response, Kozlovsky filed a lawsuit against Borodin for the protection of honor and dignity. He called ego mourning “fantasy”.
