In Tajikistan, law enforcement officials took relatives of those accused in the case of the terrorist attack in the Crocus City Hall near Moscow for questioning. This was reported by the Tajik service of Radio Liberty/Ozoda.

A relative of one of the accused – Saidakram Rajabalizod – told journalists that after the terrorist attack, Rajabalizod’s mother, his brother, his wife and two uncles were taken to Dushanbe for questioning. The family lives in the city of Vahdat.

Journalists went to the home of the second defendant in Hissar – Faridun Shamsiddin – but did not find his parents and wife. One of his relatives, without introducing himself, said that “Faridun’s parents, wife and mother-in-law were also taken to Dushanbe for questioning.” In the house of Muhammadsobir Fayzov in Dushanbe, journalists also did not find relatives of the accused.

According to a source from Radio Ozoda, a group of Russian investigators arrived in Tajikistan to interrogate relatives of the accused. The official structures of both countries have not yet announced anything about it.

  • On the evening of Friday, March 22, several people in camouflage uniforms opened fire from machine guns in a concert hall on the outskirts of Moscow (administratively, this is the Moscow suburb of Krasnogorsk). Then there was an explosion and a huge fire started. As a result of the terrorist attack, according to the latest data, 139 people died, including three children. At least 180 people were injured.
  • On March 23, the FSB reported to the President of Russia Vladimir Putin about the detention of 11 people in connection with the shooting in the concert hall. Four of them are directly suspected of the attack. They arrived at the entertainment center in a white Renault, and after killing the visitors and starting a fire, drove away in the same car and were detained in the Bryansk region. The other seven detainees, as claimed by law enforcement agencies, could be related to the preparation of a terrorist attack. All 11 people were subsequently arrested.
