An unmanned aerial vehicle attacked the building of the military enlistment office in the Sevsky district of the Bryansk region on Monday evening. This was announced by the regional governor Alexander Bogomaz. According to him, the building was damaged, but there were no victims. Special services are working at the scene.
A little later, Bogomaz confirmed that another drone dropped an explosive device near the building of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, also in the city of Sevsk.
Bogomaz believes that the drones belonged to the armed forces of Ukraine.
The regional center of Sevsk, where the military enlistment office is located, is located 140 kilometers south of Bryansk, closer to the Ukrainian border.
- After the beginning of Russia’s military invasion of Ukraine, there are regular reports of a tense situation in the Russian regions bordering the war zone. The authorities of the Bryansk, Belgorod, and Kursk regions have repeatedly reported shelling, as they claimed, from the Ukrainian side. The Ministry of Defense of Ukraine does not comment on the shelling.
