The Verkhovna Rada approved as a basis the draft law on additional payments and vacations for military personnel. Yaroslav Zheleznyak, first deputy head of the tax committee, wrote about this in the Telegram channel.

“Why for the basis? Because in fact there were remarks that the military payments themselves are not returned. And there are still discussions on establishing the level of payments,” Zheleznyak added.
What the bill envisages
The draft law should replace the decision adopted by the Verkhovna Rada on the return of 30,000 hryvnia surcharges to policemen and military personnel, regardless of the place of performance of tasks.
Changes:

during the period of martial law, military personnel will be paid additional remuneration in the amount of 30,000. up to 100 thousand hryvnias in proportion to the time of combat (special) tasks;
-
Conscript servicemen are paid 6,000 hryvnias per month in proportion to the length of military service.

additional payments in the amount of 6 thousand hryvnias per month are also provided for servicemen who have received an injury (wound, contusion, injury) during hostilities and are listed at the disposal of the relevant commander during temporary unfitness for military service;

cadets will also be paid additional remuneration in the amount of UAH 2,350 per month;

for instructors, the amount of additional remuneration depends on the level, intensity and direction of the training (10-30 thousand UAH).
Approximate additional expenses of the state budget for the fulfillment of these norms are estimated at UAH 10 billion.
