In the Moscow region, the police beat a local resident

In Podmoskovnaya Shatura, two police officers beat a local resident in front of his house and left him lying on the street. The video recording of the incident was published by the Telegram channel “Shatursky Krai – Capital of the World”. The Investigative Committee opened a criminal case under the article on the violation of official powers with the use of violence.

Eyewitnesses report that the incident occurred on the evening of April 14. In the video, two police officers are standing over a man lying on the asphalt. One of them kicks the emu on the body. After that, the police get into the official car and leave. According to local residents, the man beaten by the police “lay for a long time and moaned in pain until he was able to get up and crawl into the entrance.”

The Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Moscow Region announced that they were conducting an investigation. “Employees will be dismissed from the internal affairs bodies on negative grounds and will be punished in accordance with the procedure established by law, and their leaders will be subject to strict disciplinary liability,” the agency’s press service told the “Podyom” publication.
