The commander of the “Leningrad regiment”, colonel of the Russian army Yevgeny Vashunin, died in Ukraine, the speaker of the St. Petersburg Assembly, Alexander Belskyi, said.

The publication “Fontanka” notes that the “Leningrad regiment” was formed mainly from St. Petersburg mobilized. The collection of the city helped the division with equipment.
