In which banks do Ukrainians receive pensions (infographics)

The total number of pensioners who received payments through current bank accounts as of May 1, 2023 was 8.3 million people. The remaining 2.3 million pensioners received payments through Ukrposhta. This is evidenced by the data of the Pension Fund of Ukraine (PFU).

Rating of banks
- According to the PFU, most pensioners (4.6 million people) receive payments from Privatbank. At the same time, the state bank’s share is 55%.
- In second place is the State Savings Bank, where 2.9 million people receive pensions. The share of the bank is 35%.
- At Raiffeisen Bank, 326.4 thousand people (3.9%) receive pensions.
- 509.2 thousand people (6.1%) receive pensions in other banks.
According to the PFU, the amount of funds transferred through banks for January-April 2023 amounted to UAH 173.0 billion, which is 23.1% more than in 2022 — UAH 140.6 billion.
