Inflation in Ukraine has slowed down sharply: how prices have changed

How prices have changed
Annualized inflation in April was 17.9% compared to 21.3% in March.
Prices for food and non-alcoholic beverages on the consumer market increased by 0.4%. Pork traveled the most (by 7.4%).
Prices for beef, poultry, fermented milk products, non-alcoholic beverages, fish and fish products, bread, and vegetables rose by 1.8-0.3%.
At the same time, the price of eggs fell by 8.7%, and the prices of processed grain products, sunflower oil, fruit, rice, milk, and sugar fell by 1.9-0.3%,” the State Government said.
At the same time, prices for alcoholic beverages and tobacco products increased by 1%, including tobacco products by 1.3%, alcoholic beverages by 0.8%.

The increase in prices in the healthcare sector by 1% occurred primarily due to the increase in pharmaceutical production by 1.2%, the State Government added.
At the same time, transport prices decreased by 0.7% due to a 2.4% decrease in the price of fuel and lubricants. Travel in railway passenger transport increased by 0.8%.
