British investment firm Schroders, which is a shareholder in fintech company Revolut, has raised the valuation of its stake in the startup by 45%, which means Revolut has grown to $25.7 billion.

About this informs Bloomberg.

Schroders Capital Global Innovation Trust’s stake in Revolu was valued at £7.88m as of December 31, 2023, up from £5.44m a year earlier, according to the company’s annual report.

Accordingly, Revolut’s total valuation rose to around $25.7 billion, up from $17.7 billion a year earlier. However, that’s still below the $33 billion valuation the company hit in a 2021 funding round at the height of the fintech boom.

In its report, Schroders said Revolut had made “significant progress” over the past year, noting the company’s international expansion efforts.

We will remind:

Russians living in Europe began to complain about restrictions on transactions on their cards and accounts in the Revolut bank.
