What is known

According to the media, it was in February that the temporary order authorizing the payment of a special monthly subsidy to Ukrainians expired. After that, the authorized ministry decided not to extend it.

It is noted that this aid, the size of which was 690 dollars per month per person, is formally intended to help migrants in the process of their adaptation.

The Israeli authorities emphasize that payments are usually received by persons who have not had time to prepare for immigration and are forced to leave the territory of their country urgently.

From this it is possible to conclude that the new government of Israel, formed after the November elections, no longer believes that refugees from Ukraine have such problems. Those who did not have time to settle down and find a job in Israel can easily return to their families, according to Tel Aviv.

Let’s remind

A total of 46,206 Ukrainians or citizens of other countries entered Israel from Ukraine since the beginning of the war. Among them, about a thousand people were found to be subject to the law of return. Since then, 30,792 Ukrainians have left the country. There are currently 14,420 citizens of Ukraine who have arrived there since the beginning of the war.
