It is now possible to replace old lamps with LEDs in all cities and urban-type settlements
Today, it is possible to replace old incandescent lamps with energy-saving LED lamps in all cities and towns of urban type in Ukraine. At the same time, in the Donetsk and Dnipropetrovsk regions, the program will start on February 9. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Economy.

Previously, it was possible to exchange lamps only in regional centers, Kryvyi Rih and Pokrovsk.
How to change the lamps
There are two ways to exchange lamps:
- through the “Action” application;
- at Ukrposhta.
Who can participate in the exchange
Any adult Ukrainian can use the service.
Since the start of the lamp exchange program on January 30, Ukrainians have already received almost 1.5 million energy-saving lamps.
Why should you change the lamps?
It is noted that with the mass replacement of old lamps with energy-saving ones, the consumption of electricity at peak times will decrease by 7-10%.
