Karelian pensioners left for Germany due to FSB pressure

Two pensioners from Segezha who criticized the Russian invasion of Ukraine, Irina Nippolainen and Anna Trusova, emigrated to Germany. This was reported by the Telegram channel From Karelia with freedom.
In March 2023, an “inspection” was conducted in the homes of pensioners on suspicion of public calls for anti-state activities. Most likely, the FSB officers came to them because of the posts in “VKontakte” criticizing the war, “OVD-Info” writes. According to “Politzek-Info”, equipment was seized from pensioners. In the end, the accused was not presented to them.
After the “examination” Nippolainen and Trusova hastily left “wherever it turned out” – to Azerbaijan. There they were engaged in obtaining a humanitarian visa. “And yesterday we arrived in the safe country of Germany. We haven’t reached a good and prosperous European life yet, but we hope for the best,” Nippolainen said.
