The concerts of the singer Krystyna Orbakaite, scheduled for March 2024, were canceled in Irkutsk and Krasnoyarsk. Earlier, at the request of pro-military activists, her concert was canceled in Chita.

Earlier in Ulan-Ude, after the appeal of the “Fighting Brotherhood” to the authorities, the concert of Krystyna Orbakaite, scheduled for March 13, was canceled. Republican authorities did not specify the reasons for canceling Orbakaite’s speech, noting that she is not recognized as a “foreign agent” and her activities are “not prohibited.”

In January, the “Union of Veterans of Afghanistan and Special Military Operations” demanded that the governor of Amur Region cancel Orbakaite’s concerts in Blagoveshchensk because of her American citizenship.

In December 2023, Russian tabloids wrote that Orbakaite returned from the USA to Russia and appeared at the “Song of the Year” concert, as well as on the air of “Channel One”.
