Last year, Ukrainians transferred more than $9 billion with the help of Privatbank

During 2022, with the help of Privatbank services, 4.5 million Ukrainians made more than 28 million international money transfers from abroad. The number of international transfers increased by 16%, and the total amount increased by 7% to $9.3 billion. This was reported by a member of the board of Privat for retail business, Dmitry Musyenko.

According to Musienko, in 2022, almost 97% of Privatbank clients received transfers exclusively to cards through Privat24 and other remote channels — ATMs, self-service terminals, and the contact center.
Which countries are leading?
In terms of the number of international transfers with Ukraine in 2022, according to Privatbank statistics, the leaders are Italy (3 million), Israel (2.2 million), Lithuania (1.8 million), Great Britain (1.2 million) and the United States (1 million).
The largest “donor countries” in terms of remittances at the end of 2022 included the United States ($1.1 billion), Great Britain ($885 million), Israel ($775 million), Lithuania ($489 million), Germany ($420 million) and Italy ( $418 million).
