The former coordinator of Navalny’s headquarters in Ufa, Liliya Chanysheva, who was sentenced to seven and a half years in prison on charges of creating an extremist community, was transferred a few days ago from the pre-trial detention center in the city of Dyurtyuli near Ufa, where she was recently, to the capital of Bashkortostan, from where she was sent by stage to Chelyabinsk, and then to Perm. On November 17, Chanysheva herself informed her lawyer Sergei Makarenko about the upcoming phase-out. According to Makarenko, it was supposed to last about one or two months. However, the prisoner was brought to Perma from Ufa in a week, with a stop in Chelyabinsk pre-trial detention center.

On November 24, as RusNews reported with reference to Chanysheva herself, she was placed in the “men’s block” of the Chelyabinsk pre-trial detention center. According to the prisoner, there was no hot water, and the cell was very cold and mice lived. On the same day, she was sent further down the stage, to Perm.

On November 7, the Supreme Court of Bashkortostan upheld the sentence of Lilia Chanysheva, handed down by the district court in Ufa in the summer.
