During the inspection of the “Mercedes-Benz” minibus, Lviv customs officials discovered 34 undeclared Starlink terminals worth UAH 1 million.

About this informs press service of Lviv Customs.

It is noted that a 41-year-old resident of the Chernivtsi region, heading from Poland through the Sheghini-Medyka checkpoint, chose the “red corridor” lane to pass customs control, where he indicated that he was moving only a used metal box and a refrigerator.

“During the inspection of the “Mercedes-Benz” minibus, in the luggage compartment, the employees of the Lviv Customs, together with the working group of the Department for Combating Smuggling and Customs Regulations of the State Customs Service, found 34 Starlink satellite systems, as well as medical equipment of the “Visiometrics” and “Aeonmed” brands, – the message says.

It is added that, based on this fact, customs officials drew up a report on violation of customs rules under part 2 of Article 471 of the Customs Code of Ukraine (non-declaration of goods moving across the customs border of Ukraine).

Economic truth.
