The Naftogaz group decided to cancel UAH 44.7 million in bonus payments for the employees of three oligarch Dmytro Firtash’s regional gas companies, which on August 15 were transferred to the management of Naftogaz.

It is reported press service “Naftogaz”.

The day before, on August 15 of this year, the management of three regional gas companies from the RGK Firtash Group, JSC “Mykolaivgaz”, JSC “Ivano-Frankivskgaz” and JSC “Khmelnytskygaz” was transferred to Naftogaz. After that, the management of these companies was changed.

According to the results of the audit of the financial statements of these companies initiated by the new management, the previous decisions of the supervisory boards, according to which the dismissed heads and members of the board of regional gas companies accrued bonuses in May of this year, will be annulled.

According to Naftogaz, all three companies have declared unprofitability: they have receivables, are suspected of tax evasion and appear in criminal proceedings. These facts, according to Naftogaz, make bonuses unfounded, and attempts to get high bonuses may indicate official abuses of the management.
