“Naftogaz” wants to receive more than 300 billion from the state this year

JSC “Naftogaz” expects to receive UAH 327 billion from the state budget this year, and the lion’s share of this amount is compensation for preferential tariffs for the population.
This is stated in articles EP with reference to the draft financial plan of “Naftogaz” for 2023.
In the financial plan for the current year, UAH 327 billion is laid down, which the company wants to receive from the state budget. A significant part of this amount is compensation for the so-called PSO mechanism, i.e. payment of the difference between market and preferential gas tariffs.
At the same time, 116.5 billion hryvnias of the total amount fall on expenses not covered by revenues, incurred as early as 2022. Yuriy Vitrenko last year spokethat it is planned to maintain low tariffs for the population with the funds of a special fund, which was supposed to be filled by donors, but in fact the bill was again billed to the state.
At the same time, the Ministry of Finance notes that the budget for 2023 does not provide for such expenses.
In the document of the Ministry of Finance, which is at the disposal of the EP, it is emphasized that the ministry submitted comments to the draft financial plan of Naftogaz, to which the company replied that they do not consider it appropriate to make changes.
