During the attack of the Russian Federation on February 10, Russia’s main target was again power plants and high-voltage network facilities. The most difficult situation is currently in Kharkiv Oblast – there are ongoing emergency shutdowns.
The scale of damage caused by the Russian attack on the energy infrastructure of Ukraine on February 10 is significant: the Russians were able to damage several thermal and hydroelectric power plants.
Two of the three operating Ukrainian nuclear power plants – Rivne and South Ukrainian – reduced electricity production as a precautionary measure due to shelling. Instability in the power grid, caused by shelling, also led to the shutdown of one of the power units of the Khmelnytsky NPP.
About the Russian Federation and oil production. Russia announced a reduction in oil production by 500,000 barrels per day (b/d) in response to the introduction of a price ceiling on it by the G7 countries, the markets reacted by increasing prices.
About customs. The State Bureau of Investigation and the Security Service of Ukraine conducted a joint operation with searches across the entire customs vertical.
