not a single “Patriot” system in Ukraine was destroyed

The Russian military has so far failed to destroy a single anti-aircraft system “Patriot” on the territory of Ukraine. This was announced on Sunday evening by the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky.
“No matter who in Russia says that our “Patriots” have been destroyed, they are all there, they are all working, they are all shooting down Russian missiles. And they are shooting down as efficiently as possible. Not a single “Patriot” has been destroyed!” – said the Ukrainian president in a video message.
Russian President Vladimir Putin said on June 16 that Russia allegedly destroyed 5 “Patriot” complexes near Kyiv, and could also destroy any building in the center of Kyiv – but for a number of reasons it did not do so. On the same day, a missile attack was carried out on Kyiv and the Kyiv region – the Ukrainian military announced that they shot down, among other things, six “Kynzhal” hypersonic missiles. The Russian Ministry of Defense said that a “decision-making center” was destroyed as a result of the strike, but did not give details. Ukrainian sources did not report the damage to any important object.
Earlier, the Ministry of Defense of Russia twice announced the destruction of the “Patriot” complexes in Kyiv with the help of “Kynzhal” missiles. It is not clear where Putin got the information about the five complexes (the supply of such a number of them to Ukraine was not even reported). The Air Force of Ukraine, however, also rejected the claims of the destruction of at least one “Patriot”.
The United States, the country that produced the Patriots, admitted that one of the complexes was probably damaged as a result of a missile attack on May 16. Later, however, the White House announced that it had already been repaired.
