In the Spanish capital of Madrid, mobile complexes of the Ukrainian “Passport service” are starting to work in a test mode. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

“The operation of 5 mobile software and technical complexes – specially equipped white minibuses with the symbols of the State Enterprise “Document” – will allow our citizens to conveniently and quickly issue or restore the necessary documents,” the message says.

Where is it located?

Passport Service mobile stations are located at C. del Alto del Retiro, 28031 Madrid, Spain.

Mobile centers will be open from Monday to Saturday from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

The service of visitors in Madrid during the system testing period is carried out through a “live queue”. Enrollment in the electronic queue will be implemented after the successful completion of system testing.

What services does it provide

Currently, citizens of Ukraine can receive the following services in Madrid:

  • issuing an ID card or passport (including replacing a lost or stolen one);
  • exchange of an ID card or passport (due to expiration, change of information, unusability);
  • exchange of a 1994 model passport for an ID card (optional or in case of invalidity);
  • simultaneous issuance of a foreign passport and an ID card.

Also, a driver’s license exchange service will be introduced later.

Let’s remind

Today, Passport Service branches are already available in four cities in Poland (Warsaw, Krakow, Gdansk, Wroclaw), in Turkey (Istanbul), Slovakia (Bratislava) and the Czech Republic (Prague), Spain (Valencia) and two cities in Germany (Cologne , Berlin).
