Poland will send the third package of energy aid to Ukraine

In the coming days, Poland will send to Ukraine the third package of equipment needed to restore the energy sector after the Russian attacks.

This was announced by the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Poland, Piotr Wawzyk, during a meeting of the Sejm Commission on National Defense, writes “European Truth” with reference to “Ukrinform”.

According to him, Polish energy companies are organizing the supply to Ukraine of the equipment necessary for the energy sector of Ukraine.

“In the coming days, there will be a third aid package with energy equipment for Ukraine,” Vavzyk said.

He recalled that the first package arrived in Ukraine from Poland at the end of November, the second – at the end of December. Most of the aid was delivered to the Khmelnytskyi NPP.

The deputy minister clarified that assistance in the energy sector is provided by the Polish Government Agency for Strategic Reserves and the Ministry of Climate and Environment.

Vavzyk emphasized that Poland is a coordinator among the EU countries in supporting Ukraine in the energy sector.

He also reminded that January 26 in Poland an energy hub was openedthanks to which the EU will provide our country with appropriate assistance.
