Primorye authorities launched a chatbot for denunciations of “extremists”

The anti-terrorist commission of the Primorsky Krai has launched a chatbot for denunciations called “Oper Pishet”, reports Nastoyaschee Vremya TV channel.

In the bot’s announcement, citizens are urged to react to “calls to extremism in social networks” and denounce those who “stir up hatred and enmity”, “propagandize evil and terror”, as well as “hide weapons at home”.

In mid-November, a similar bot called “Bad People Search” appeared. launched the FSB Administration for the Belgorod region. Ego users, among other things, were offered to report on citizens who “try to destabilize the situation in the Russian Federation and work for the SBU or other formations of the Kyiv regime,” “transmit information about the location of the Russian military,” and “distribute symbols prohibited in Russia.”

In August, it became known that since the beginning of the year, more than five thousand messages were sent by Russians to the humorous Internet application “My Report”, which was developed by an IT specialist who moved from Russia to Europe as a parody of the “Gosuslugy” website. At the same time, many Russians wrote serious messages there. Most often, they demanded that their neighbors or acquaintances be held accountable for criticizing the war in Ukraine and Russian President Vladimir Putin.
