In Dagestan, administrative protocols were drawn up for 901 participants of the anti-Semitic riots that occurred at the Makhachkala airport on October 29, 2023. This is reported by “Mediazona”.

872 people were arrested under the article on illegal assembly, another 25 people were issued with protocols for a mass gathering of citizens with a violation of public order. Protocols were drawn up against another four people for violation of security rules at the airport.

“Mediazona” notes that more than two months after the pogrom in Makhachkala, the protocols are still being submitted to the court.

In addition to administrative protocols, more than 100 people are in the Dagestan pre-trial detention center on charges of participation in mass riots. One of them is also accused of an attempt on the life of a policeman.

  • On October 29, several hundred people seized the Makhachkala airport, trying to find Jews among the passengers of the flight from Tel Aviv. Against the backdrop of Israel’s actions in Gaza, those gathered demanded the expulsion of Jews from Dagestan. The local police only tried to calm the crowd. After the people broke through to the airfield, Russian Guard soldiers entered the airport. About 20 people were injured in clashes with the Russian Guard.
