The number of structural subdivisions of Ukrainian banks in the first quarter of 2023 decreased by 2.7%, or by 147 — to 5,192. This is evidenced by the data of the National Bank, writes the League.

Who closed the most separated
Raiffeisen Bank — 27 and A-Bank — 10 closed the most branches in January-March of this year, after which 323 and 205 structural subdivisions remained in their networks, respectively.
Ukrstroyinvestbank reduced the number of branches by 6 — to 44, Sens Bank and PUIB — by 5 each, according to 138 and 221, UkrSybbank — by 3, to 230.
Taskombank opened the largest number of branches since the beginning of the year — 3, increasing their number to 93.
In general, the rate of reduction in the number of bank branches slowed down to 2.7% in the first quarter of this year. In the fourth quarter of last year, it was 3.3%, in the third – 7.9%, and in the second – 8.1%.
According to the National Bank, the largest separate networks in Ukraine as of April 1 this year were owned by Privatbank — 1,209, Oschadbank — 1,183, Raiffeisen Bank — 323, UkrSibbank — 230, PUMB — 221, Ukrgasbank — 217, A-Bank — 205,141 and Sense Bank — 138.
At the beginning of April 2023, state banks accounted for 51.2% of all banking branches in Ukraine.
