Russia will suspend the supply of dairy products from Armenia

Rosselkhoznadzor asked the veterinary service of Armenia to suspend the supply of dairy products to Russia.

Russia asserts that Armenia cannot “guarantee the safety of dairy products for Russian recipients.” The department referred to the results of the inspection conducted on March 20-24. Then it turned out that Armenian manufacturers “allow the use of raw materials from Iranian enterprises that do not have the right to supply to Russia.”

The inspection body of the food safety of Armenia declared that the raw material is safe and its products are sold in the domestic market of the country.

Rosselkhoznadzor published the results of the inspection on March 28, a few days after the Constitutional Court of Armenia recognized the obligations established by the International Criminal Court (ICC). According to them, the President of Russia, Vladimir Putin, will have to be arrested on the warrant of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, if he comes to the country. In Moscow, such a step of Armenia was called “unacceptable” and threatened with consequences.

  • The Ministry of Internal Affairs issued a warrant for Putin’s arrest on March 17. The court suspects him of committing war crimes: forced deportations and displacement of the population, in particular children, from the occupied territories of Ukraine. Now Putin can be arrested in 123 countries that participate in the work of the court.
