Several Russian regions came under shelling and drone attacks on May 10. Thus, in the city of Shebekino, Belgorod Region, one local resident was killed as a result of an artillery strike. In the Voronezh region, two drones exploded on the territory of a military facility. According to Baza telegram channel, 14 servicemen were injured as a result of the attack.
In the Kaluga region, according to the ASTRA telegram channel, on the morning of May 10, two drones were shot down near the village of Mehovo. Kursk Region Governor Roman Starovoyt reported that a drone was shot down near the village of Tolmachevo. As a result of falling debris, there is damage to the gas pipe and the facade of one of the houses.
Telegram channel SHOT also reports on the drone attack in the Belgorod region. One of them was allegedly shot down, and the second crashed into a power line support and exploded. As a result of the impact, several houses were damaged. Telegram channel Mash spread information that the Armed Forces of Ukraine tried to attack Moscow on May 9 with several drones. The press secretary of the President of Russia, Dmitry Peskov, denied this information. He stated that there were no reports from law enforcement agencies.
Earlier on May 9, a kindergarten in the settlement of Kurkovychi came under fire in the Bryansk region. The governor of the region, Oleksandr Bogomaz, assigned the responsibility for this to the Armed Forces of Ukraine. According to the official, the explosion blew out windows in the building and disrupted the power supply. There were no children in the building during the shelling. No casualties have been reported. Another explosion damaged the sports ground.
