Shmyhal named six settlements where complex reconstruction will take place

During the meeting, the government approved a resolution defining six settlements where, as part of the pilot project, reconstruction will take place comprehensively and according to new principles. This was announced by Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal, the Government Portal reports.

Where will the recovery take place
Complex restoration will take place in 5 areas:
- Kyiv region — Borodyanka and Moschun;
- Sumy region — Trostyanets;
- Kherson region — Posad-Pokrovskoye;
- Kharkiv region — Tsirkuny;
- Chernihiv region — Yagodnoe.
System approach
“All these settlements experienced terrible destruction. Now they will be restored in a complex. This means that not individual buildings and structures will be restored, but everything with a systemic approach, new planning and complete transformation of these settlements,” the head of government emphasized.

At the same time, Shmyhal emphasized that the implementation of the experimental project does not mean that the restoration will not affect other settlements.
According to him, the rapid recovery plan for this year has five priorities, at the same time there are hundreds of different projects, hundreds of cities and towns, where it will take place simultaneously.
