Simonyan suggested detonating a nuclear bomb over Siberia

Editor-in-Chief of the state TV channel Russia Today and the news agency “Russia Today” in the author’s program “Ch.T.D.” came up with the idea of making a nuclear explosion on Russian territory, as she put it – “somewhere over Siberia”. Thus, according to Simonyan, the “collective West” will be punished, with which, according to the editor-in-chief of RT, Russia is at war.
The Insider edition quotes Simonyan’s statement, addressed to the leaders of Western countries, almost in full:
“Dear and respected former partners, calling a spade a spade, you are waging a war with us, and we are forced to wage a war with you, with all the consequences. And for this it is not even necessary, as Zhirynovsky demanded – let’s fuck in Washington together … Here one smart person told me something that I did not even know about.
Neither nuclear winter, which everyone is afraid of, nor monstrous radiation, which will kill everyone around, and those who don’t, will die within ten years from oncology – nothing. And all the radio electronics, all the satellites, this camera that I’m shooting on now, the phone that’s lying next to me will be disabled… And we’ll be back with you in some year 1993 – wired phones, “dushechka ” in the payphone… I’ll tell you: it was a wonderful life, the truth is, I’m even happy. At least I won’t have to explain to my children why everyone has gadgets and they don’t… (Simonyan further explained that she forbids her children to use gadgets, – PM RS). This option remains, and it is even more humane. The same, you know, herbivorous option. I don’t see any outcome other than approximately this, whether I like it or not.”
It is noted that Simonyan did not name the person who told her about the existing idea of a nuclear explosion over Siberia, and did not specify whether he is an official.
The press secretary of the President of Russia Dmitry Peskov has already reacted to the statement of the editor-in-chief of Russia Today. He stated that Simonyan does not work in the Russian authorities and does not reflect the official position of the Kremlin.
