The Center for Economic Strategy together with the German Economic Team invite you to join the economic review in September 2023 with the special topic of the month: “State budget 2024. Uncertainty from the US and recovery funds”.
The event will take place on October 13 at 16:00 on the Zoom platform. Take a short walk to get the link registration.
The second “war budget” will differ from the first by shifting priorities from reconstruction to defense needs. A separate role in the financing of these expenses is assigned to the redistribution of revenues from the military personal income tax.
But all internal changes will not be able to be fully realized without the support of the key partner – the USA, where a key decision on supporting Ukraine in the next year has not yet been made.
At the event, experts will consider in detail the draft state budget of Ukraine for 2024 and discuss the risks that will accompany its implementation.
In addition, traditionally, you will see major changes in the country’s economy in September.
Event schedule:
16:00 – 16:05 Opening remarks, Gary Polushkin, project manager of GET in Ukraine;
