State Duma deputies will tell voters about the successful fight against the “Wagner” rebellion

State Duma deputies from the “United Russia” party received party recommendations on communicating with voters during the regional week of the lower house. It is indicated to them that it speaks about the successful suppression of the rebellion of PMC “Wagner” and the role of Vladimir Putin in this. The newspaper “Kommersant” writes about it.

As the publication writes, the deputies are offered to explain to the electorate that the consolidation of Russians around the figure of the president played a key role in suppressing the rebellion. The list of theses, dedicated to the war in Ukraine, opens with the statement that presidential decisions “always lead to victories.”

It is noted that “decisive battles are raging” on the Ukrainian front now, and any destabilization of the situation is a “knife in the back of the army” and “contempt for the interests of all Russians.”

On the Day of Love, Family and Fidelity, which is celebrated in Russia on July 8, United Russians are invited to pay special attention to couples celebrating their wedding anniversary, as well as families of war participants. The holiday is important in the context of “cultural opposition to Western trends,” as well as the government’s concern for the preservation of “primitive family traditions,” the party leadership informed the deputies.

An earlier survey by the Levada Center showed that after the unsuccessful Wagner coup, up to a third of Russians continue to declare their approval of PMC head Yevgeny Prigozhin. It is confirmed that the event did not affect President Putin’s assessment. According to FOM polls, confidence in Putin has decreased by three percentage points as a result of the events.
