Subsanctioned Georgian Airways will help Russians get to Nice

The Georgian airline Georgian Airways, which is under the sanctions of Ukraine, is launching transit flights for Russians from Moscow to Nice via Tbilisi.

A one-stop transit flight to the Cote d’Azur will start on July 5. Flights with an hourly transfer in Tbilisi will fly to France twice a week – on Wednesday and Saturday.
The price of tickets for this flight starts from 535 dollars (for flights on Wednesdays) and from 633 dollars (for flights on Saturdays).
In general, the journey from the Russian capital to Nice will take 8 and a half hours.
On the eve of Georgian Airways increased the number of daily direct flights between Moscow and Tbilisi.
Georgian Airways, which resumed flights to Russia, and its director Tamaz Gaiashvili were on the updated list of sanctions of Ukraine.
The decision caused a protest in the Georgian authorities, which called such a step unfriendly.
