The TASS agency and several Belgorod publications have deleted reports that appeared on Wednesday morning about a drone hitting the FSB building in Belgorod. Novaya gazeta Evropa drew attention to this.

The publication writes that after the explosions in the city center that were heard on the morning of March 13, local channels published footage of smoke over houses. At the same time, TASS reported that a drone had hit the FSB building. Later, the agency deleted this message, and a few minutes later, similar posts were deleted in at least 6 Belgorod Telegram channels. In some, however, they remained.

As noted by “Novaya Gazeta Evropa”, at least two publications have disappeared from the TASS telegram channel: one of them reported on a drone attack, and the second – about damage to the FSB building. “The facade is damaged and the windows are broken, operational services report,” the post said. A photo with a cloud of smoke over the center of the city also disappeared from Belgorod publications, without even mentioning the FSB building in the posts.

The governor of the region, Vyacheslav Gladkov, did not delete his publication about the drone attack. It says that one of the drones crashed into an apartment building, and the second “fell into the river.” There is no mention of damage to the FSB building.

There is no independent information on whether the FSB building in Belgorod was damaged by a drone attack on the morning of Wednesday, March 13.
