In Cheboksary, teachers are required to conduct surveys of schoolchildren’s parents and compile lists of those loyal and disloyal to Russian President Vladimir Putin. This is reported by the Telegram channel “Angry Chuvashia”, citing screenshots from chat rooms where teachers communicate. Judging by them, parents are asked to answer the questions, whether they will vote for Putin or for the second candidate, and to express their opinion regarding the support of the president among the people.

The channel clarifies that this is an initiative of the Cheboksary Education Department. Class teachers are responsible for conducting polls and submitting their results to the department.

“Elections are coming soon, the leadership is busy. I personally know who is for and who is against. In addition, schools do not have the right to campaign. But what we have, we have,” one of the teachers wrote in the chat.

Earlier, the “Udmurtia against corruption” channel reported on conducting similar polls at the “Kupol” electromechanical plant in Izhevsk.
