When lending money to a company, it is necessary to understand whether its business model is viable and how effectively it can use the received funds. — Dmitry Bogodukhov, the founder of the AccessFinance group of companies, said this at the investment conference “Invest Talk Summit”

He created a group of companies that provide lending and leasing services to the population and small businesses. This group was one of the first in Ukraine to provide private investors with the opportunity to legally invest in this direction.
Dmitry Bogodukhov named three factors that investors should take into account when deciding to invest in one or another project.
“Firstly, how viable is the business model and will it remain so in the future. We are interested in whether it can be profitable, whether there is demand for services or products,” he says.
The second is whether it is possible to scale this business model. “The point is not to simply increase the volume of work, but to do it efficiently and cost-effectively. That is, by attracting funds, the business must increase volumes, and thanks to the effect of scale, increase profitability,” says Dmitry Bogodukhov.
Also, in his opinion, in Ukraine it is necessary to pay attention to the owners of the business in which funds are invested. “You must understand how open and transparent they are, whether they are involved in this business and how important it is to them,” says Bogodukhov.
