On Monday, the budget committee of the Verkhovna Rada launched a competition for the position of a member of the Accounting Chamber, the winner will be determined by the parliament during the meeting.
This was reported by the head of the VRU Budget Committee, Roksolana Pidlas, in a comment to the EP.
“Today, at its meeting, the Budget Committee announced the start of the competition for a member of the Accounting Chamber,” she said. Acceptance of documents will last 14 days until May 8 inclusive.
The Verkhovna Rada will determine the winner of the competition by ranking vote during the plenary session. The candidate with the most votes will be appointed a member of the Accounting Chamber for 6 years.
A member of the Accounting Chamber can be a citizen of Ukraine, not younger than thirty years old, who speaks the state language and one of the official languages of the Council of Europe, and also has a higher education at least a master’s degree. In addition, a total work experience of at least seven years, work experience in the field of state audit, economics, finance or law – at least five years, and an impeccable business reputation are required.
