Banks will again seize customer accounts at the request of executive authorities. In particular, the return of arrests will affect 436,000 monobank clients.

This was announced by the co-owner of the bank Oleg Horohovskyi in Telegram.

“The law “On Amendments to Certain Laws of Ukraine Regarding Specific Features of the Organization of Enforcement of Court Decisions and Decisions of Other Bodies During Martial Law” entered into force.

This law cancels the effect of the resolution of the CMU, which lifted the arrests of the executive service in the amount of less than 100,000 hryvnias during the martial law,” he wrote.

The banker added that the new law allows clients with arrests to use an amount equal to two minimum salaries (13,400 UAH).

This is possible on the condition that the client will contact the executor and he will send the bank a resolution to remove the seizure in the amount of UAH 13,400 on one of the client’s accounts.

“Since the law has entered into force, we must return the arrests that were made during martial law. This will affect about 436,000 of our clients,” Horokhovsky summarized.
