The Verkhovna Rada has registered a draft law, which significantly reduces the time for changing the purpose of land outside settlements for objects of industry and energy.

This was reported by the author of the document, deputy chairman of the VRU Committee on Economic Development, Dmytro Kysilevskyi Facebook.

The main goal of such changes is the restoration of industry and energy, the deputy notes. Since June of last year, the simplified procedure for changing the purpose of land has been in effect for relocated enterprises, multimodal terminals, ports on the Danube, housing for IDPs, engineering and communication networks, and road and transport infrastructure facilities.

In fact, the draft law proposes to extend its effect to industrial and energy facilities. Namely, it is proposed to reduce the time for changing the purpose of the land from the current 1-3 years to about 1.5 months.

Such a simplified procedure will work for industrial and energy facilities for the period of martial law and for 5 years after its termination. It will apply to lands fromand the boundaries of settlementsfor which there is no urban planning documentation.

The basis will be the conclusion of the authorized body of urban planning and architecture of the local council regarding the possibility of placing the planned object on the plot of land – without the mandatory requirement to develop urban planning documentation and land management documentation.

The document, which will be the basis for changing the purpose of the land, will simultaneously provide an opportunity to design the construction object.
