Kim and Dubas are accused in the case of providing services that do not meet safety requirements and caused the death of two or more people due to negligence. The investigation considers them the organizers of an illegal tour of Moscow collectors. They refused to plead guilty.
According to the investigation, shortly before the tragedy, the digger Konstantin Filippov, who was conducting the tour, contacted Dubas and clarified the details of the route with him. Kim became the defendant in the case due to the fact that in his service “Sputnik” it was possible to sign up for an underground tour of Neglynka and similar tours.
Excursions to Moscow’s sewage collectors are considered illegal, and the provision of such services qualifies as a criminal offense, the press service of the capital’s housing and communal services department told RIA Novosti.
