According to the SBU materials, the court seized the hidden assets of the sanctioned oligarch, former People’s Deputy Vadym Novinsky, worth more than 10.5 billion hryvnias.

This was reported by the SBU press service.

The list of blocked assets includes 230 real estate objects that Novinsky owns through an offshore trust fund.

Including:

  • an elite hotel complex in the center of Kyiv;
  • sea trading port “Ochakiv”;
  • agricultural holding premises and shopping centers in different regions of Ukraine.

“It was established that in order to avoid NSDC sanctions, Novinsky re-registered his own assets to several controlled foreign citizens in offshore jurisdictions. To implement the arrangement, he involved affiliated private notaries and state registrars,” law enforcement officers said.

However, the special service exposed the criminal scheme and blocked it.

Currently, as part of the criminal proceedings initiated by SBU investigators under Art. 111-2 (assistance to the aggressor state) the investigation is ongoing.
